This habit tracker shows a rolling 7-day grid, one row per habit and one checkbox column per date, so you can see a week of progress at a glance. Add a habit by name, then click the checkbox under any of the visible dates, including past days within that window, to mark it done. Every change saves immediately to this browser's local storage, so your habits and their history persist across visits without an account. The Streak column counts consecutive days done, working backward from today across your full saved log, not just the visible 7-day window, so a longer streak still displays correctly even though only the most recent week is shown in the grid. A streak resets to zero the moment a day is missed, which keeps the number an honest reflection of your current run rather than a lifetime total. Because everything runs as JavaScript in your browser, the habits you track and how consistently you keep them are never uploaded anywhere.

Type the name of a habit you want to track and click Add habit.

Click the checkbox under a date to mark that habit done for that day, for any of the last 7 days.

Watch your streak
The Streak column counts consecutive days done, including today, and resets the moment a day is missed.

Remove a habit
Click the trash icon on a habit's row to stop tracking it.

Frequently asked questions

Where is my habit data saved?

In this browser's local storage, on your own device. It is not uploaded to any server.

How is the streak calculated?

It counts backward from today, one day at a time, and stops at the first day that is not checked off. So a streak of 5 means the last 5 days including today are all checked.

Can I check off a day I missed logging?

Yes, within the visible 7-day window you can click any date's checkbox, past or present, to mark it done.

What happens after 7 days, does older history disappear?

The grid always shows the most recent 7 days, but your full log is kept in storage, the streak calculation looks back further than 7 days if needed to count a longer streak accurately.

Will I lose my habits if I close the tab?

No. Local storage persists across tab closes and browser restarts on the same device and browser.
