Are the passwords sent to a server?

No. The generator runs entirely in your browser with client-side JavaScript. No password is transmitted, stored, or logged, so what you see on screen is the only copy until you save or copy it.

How does the strength meter decide Weak, Medium, or Strong?

It scores the password on length (bonuses at 12 and 16 characters) and on whether it includes lowercase, uppercase, digits, and symbols. Low scores show Weak, mid scores show Medium, and high scores show Strong. The meter appears only for a single password, not a batch.

What symbols can appear in a password?
