Image Cropper cuts a rectangle out of a single image using numbers instead of a drag handle. You add one picture, type an X offset, Y offset, width, and height in pixels, then press Crop Image to lift out exactly that region. The result is encoded as a JPEG at 92 percent quality and saved with a cropped_ prefix on your original filename. All of the work is done by an HTML canvas on your own machine, so the picture you load is never sent to a server.

Why use Image Cropper?

Image Cropper is a browser tool for lifting a rectangular section out of one image using exact pixel coordinates. Rather than dragging a selection box, you describe the crop with four numbers: X offset and Y offset locate the top-left corner, and width and height decide how far the rectangle extends. Pressing Crop Image loads your picture into a hidden canvas, copies only that rectangle, and paints the result onto the page so you can inspect it before saving anything. The processing stays on your machine. Your file becomes a local object URL, the canvas drawImage call copies the chosen region, and toDataURL encodes it at JPEG quality 0.92. Since the crop itself makes no network request, the image you are working on is never uploaded. As soon as a picture finishes loading, the fields prefill to X 0, Y 0 and a width and height of up to 400 pixels, capped to the image's own size when it is smaller, which gives you a workable starting box to adjust. The source picture sits above the number fields as a preview, and the cropped output appears under the buttons after you run it. Saving takes one click: the Download button, which shows up only once a result exists, writes the crop as a JPEG named with a cropped_ prefix ahead of your source filename. To move on to a different picture, the Clear button removes the current file, its preview, and the result so you start clean without reloading. Bear in mind that this tool handles a single image per pass and always writes JPEG, so it fits precise, coordinate-driven crops rather than bulk conversion or format changes.

How do I choose the area to crop?

By typing four numbers. X offset (px) and Y offset (px) mark the top-left corner, and Width (px) and Height (px) set the size of the box. There is no draggable outline; the rectangle is defined entirely by those values.

Does my image get uploaded anywhere?

No. The file is read locally into an image, your rectangle is drawn onto an HTML canvas, and the JPEG is produced in the page. No part of the picture leaves your device.

What file type does the cropped image come out as?

A JPEG at 92 percent quality. Even if the source is a PNG or another format, the download is a JPEG, and the saved file is named cropped_ followed by your original filename.

Can I crop a batch of images together?

No, it works on one image at a time. Download your crop, press Clear, then add the next picture to crop it separately.

What do the width and height start at?

When an image loads, the box begins at X 0 and Y 0 with a width and height of 400 pixels, or the image's own width and height if either is under 400. You then edit the numbers to target the region you actually want.

Why does part of my crop look blank or clipped?

The offset plus the size is reaching beyond the image edge. Reduce the X or Y offset, or lower the width or height, so the whole rectangle stays inside the picture's real dimensions.
