How do you make a GIF from images?

To make a GIF, upload two or more images (JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF), arrange them with the arrow buttons, set the delay between frames from 100 ms to 2000 ms, and click Create GIF. The frames are encoded in the browser into a looping animation.gif with a 256-colour palette, scaled to at most 800 pixels on the longest side.

What frame delay makes a good GIF?

A delay of 500 ms, half a second per frame, is a comfortable pace for a slideshow of photos. Use 100 to 200 ms for smooth motion such as a short clip or product spin, and 1000 to 2000 ms when each frame carries text that viewers need time to read. The animation loops forever.
